Subscription Policy

Everything you need to know about your Level Up gifting plan

Level Up offers recurring gifting subscriptions that make it effortless to show up for the people who matter. This policy explains how our subscriptions work, what to expect, and how to manage your plan.

1. Available Plans

We currently offer three gifting options:

  • Monthly Gifting Plan ($49/month): one curated gift per month for your chosen recipient, billed monthly. Best for staying consistently present in someone's life.

  • Milestone Gifting Plan ($59/occasion): billed only when a key occasion you have entered approaches. No monthly charge between events.

  • One-Time Gift ($64): a single curated gift with no recurring commitment.

Prices are in USD and subject to change. Existing subscribers will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days in advance.

2. Billing

  • Monthly Plan: billed on the same calendar date each month starting from your sign-up date.

  • Milestone Plan: billed approximately 14 days before each occasion date on file.

  • All billing is processed automatically through Shopify Payments.

  • You will receive an email receipt after each charge.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure your payment information is current. Failed payments may result in a skipped gift or suspension of your subscription.

3. What Your Subscription Includes

  • A thoughtfully curated gift selected based on your recipient's profile, preferences, and upcoming occasion.

  • Premium packaging and presentation.

  • Optional handwritten card (included by default — see your account settings).

  • Free standard shipping on all subscription gifts.

  • Access to your gifting dashboard to manage recipients, review gift history, and provide feedback.

Specific products, brands, and gift items are curated at our discretion. We do not guarantee the inclusion of any specific product.

4. Recipient Profiles

To personalize your subscription, we ask you to complete a recipient profile including their name, relationship, important dates, interests, and delivery address. The quality of your profile directly improves the quality of our curation. You can update a recipient profile at any time from your dashboard.

5. Pausing Your Subscription

You may pause your subscription for up to 3 months per calendar year. To pause:

  • Log into your dashboard and go to your subscription settings, or

  • Email us at hello@levelupgifting.com at least 5 business days before your next billing date.

During a pause, no gifts will ship and no charges will be made. Your subscription will automatically resume after your selected pause period.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 5 business days before your renewal date.

  • To cancel: log into your dashboard → Subscription Settings → Cancel Plan, or email hello@levelupgifting.com.

  • Upon cancellation, your plan remains active through the end of the current paid period.

  • No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing cycle.

  • Any gifts already in progress (curated or shipped) for the current period will be fulfilled.

7. Modifying Your Plan

You may upgrade, downgrade, or change your plan type at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. To modify your plan, log into your dashboard or contact us at hello@levelupgifting.com.

8. Adding or Removing Recipients

Monthly Plan subscribers can have multiple recipients under one account, with a separate subscription charge per recipient. You can add a new recipient at any time. Removing a recipient from your plan takes effect at the next billing cycle.

9. Gifting Feedback and Profile Updates

After each gift is delivered, you will be prompted in your dashboard to rate the gift and leave notes. This feedback directly informs the curation of your next gift. We strongly encourage completing feedback to improve the accuracy and quality of future selections.

10. Gifting Calendar and Occasion Management

We rely on the occasion dates you provide to time your gifts correctly. It is your responsibility to:

  • Enter accurate dates for all occasions in your recipient profile.

  • Update dates if they change (e.g. a rescheduled event).

  • Notify us at least 10 business days in advance if you need a gift shipped to a different address or timeline than what is on file.

Level Up is not responsible for late delivery caused by missing or inaccurate occasion dates in your profile.

11. Subscription Renewals

We will send you a renewal reminder email at least 5 days before each billing date. If your payment fails, we will retry the charge twice over 5 days before suspending your subscription. You will be notified by email if a payment fails.
